Oh what a beautiful morning

The group enjoyed exploring Bedfont lakes, especially the balancing beams!

When we arrive at Bedfont Lakes we look at the map and choose which trail we would like to walk. We take turns map reading and leading and decide if we would like the challenge of hills to climb or the flat route. We like the hill route because when we get to the top we can watch the planes taking off from Heathrow and talk about where in the world they could be flying to. If we are lucky, we sometimes see the goats and sheep on the hill, we like to make their sounds and then they talk back to us.

On the way back we stop at the lake and like to sit and relax watching the Ducks and Geese and talk about what different types there are and then we give them names, Harry has named some Neil, Roger and Dave. Archie likes to pick flowers and smell them and shows them to the group.

On the ‘Trim Trail’ we reach a park with lots of exercise equipment, there are climbing walls, balancing beams and a zip line and all around the park there is gym equipment, Kostas can now do 4 pull ups and Danny can walk the full length of the balancing beam without help, each week we try to beat our personal best scores.
